Welcome to LifeNote (Time Diary, the "Service"). By registering, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service provides journaling, photo and media management, memory videos, cloud sync, subscriptions or paid features, and other features we may offer from time to time. Available features depend on what is shown in the app and your account permissions; we may adjust, suspend, or discontinue features as needed.

Account and user content

You must provide accurate, complete registration information and keep your account credentials secure. Content you upload, store, or sync must be lawful and must not infringe others' rights. We may remove violating content or restrict accounts as required by law or these Terms.

License and built-in assets

To provide, operate, back up, sync, and improve the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to your content as necessary. Built-in music and similar assets are licensed as described in the app; if you include third-party audio, you are responsible for lawful use.

Third-party services and payments

Third-party sign-in, maps, weather, or other integrated services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Subscription or paid item pricing, billing cycles, auto-renewal, and refunds follow what is shown in the app or on App Store / Google Play.

Disclaimer and liability limit

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Except for willful misconduct, gross negligence, or where liability cannot be limited by law, our total liability is capped at amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law, changes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan); disputes shall be submitted to the Taipei District Court as the court of first instance, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules. We may modify the Service or these Terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Contact us via in-app support or our published channels for Terms-related questions.
