LifeNote (Time Diary) | Last updated: May 20, 2026
The LifeNote (Time Diary) team ("we") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. By using the service you agree to this policy; if you do not agree, please do not use the service.
This policy applies to personal data processed through the LifeNote mobile app and directly related network services (such as backends used for account sync). It does not apply to third-party websites or apps—please read their privacy statements as well.
Categories of data collected
We may collect: (1) account data such as email, nickname, and third-party login identifiers (e.g., Apple, Google); (2) content you provide such as diary text, photos, audio, tags, location or weather you choose to add; (3) device and technical data including device model, OS version, app version, language, approximate time zone, error logs, and performance data; (4) usage records such as feature frequency; (5) payment-related transaction identifiers processed by App Store, Google Play, and similar platforms.
Purposes and use
We process personal data as needed to provide and operate the service, verify accounts, sync and back up, support customers, maintain security and fraud prevention, fix errors, meet legal obligations, and improve products with your consent. Data may be stored on your device and in regions where we or our cloud providers operate.
Sharing and third-party services
Except with your consent, for processors performing contracted tasks, legal requirements, or rights protection, we do not sell your personal data. If you sign in with Apple, Google, or similar providers, we receive identifiers they agree to disclose.
Your rights
Where applicable law allows, you may request access, copies, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. Use in-app features or contact us to submit requests.
Policy updates and contact
We may revise this policy at any time; material changes will be announced in the app or by other reasonable means. For privacy questions, contact us via in-app support or our published email.
